Delete your Penny Vault account
This page is the official account and data deletion URL for Penny Vault, published on Google Play and the App Store by American Record Company. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to use this page.
Choose full account deletion below, or delete specific data while keeping your account.
Full account deletion
- Email us from your registered account address. Send a deletion request to support@amrecordcompany.com with the subject line Delete Penny Vault Account. For security, we can only process requests sent from the email tied to your Penny Vault login. Include your full name (if on the account), the email you use to sign in, and a clear statement such as “Please delete my Penny Vault account and associated personal data.” Optional: your User ID from Profile → Settings if you have it.
- Resolve any remaining wallet balance (if applicable). If your account holds withdrawable artist/label earnings above the payout threshold, request a payout before deletion. Unused listener wallet credits are forfeited when the account is closed, except where required by law.
- We verify your identity and confirm deletion. We reply within 7 business days to acknowledge your request. Deletion is completed within 30 days unless we need additional verification or must retain specific records as described below.

Data we delete
- Firebase Authentication login (email/password or linked sign-in)
- Your user profile (display name, role, preferences, onboarding state)
- Wallet balances and in-app credits tied to your account
- Liked tracks, playlists, and saved listening preferences
- Direct messages you sent or received in Penny Vault
- Promotional wallet flags and account-specific app settings
- Artist/label profile data linked solely to your user account
Data we may keep
- Payment, top-up, stream, and payout ledger records (required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution)
- Records needed to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests
- Aggregated, de-identified usage statistics that cannot reasonably identify you
- Uploaded music may remain in the catalog if rights were granted to American Record Company; contact us to request catalog removal separately
Retention period
Personal profile and account data listed under “Data we delete” is removed when deletion is processed. Financial and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years after account closure, after which they are deleted or further anonymized where permitted by law. Backups containing deleted data are purged on our normal backup rotation schedule (typically within 90 days).
Delete specific data (keep your Penny Vault account)
You can ask American Record Company to remove selected categories of personal data from Penny Vault without closing your account. Email us from your registered account address and name the categories you want removed.
- Email from your Penny Vault login address. Send to support@amrecordcompany.com with subject line Penny Vault Partial Data Deletion Request. List the data categories to delete from the table below (for example: “Delete my direct messages and liked tracks”). Include your account email and User ID if available.
- We confirm scope before processing. We reply within 7 business days. Selected data is removed within 30 days unless legal retention applies to that category.

Partial vs. full deletion: Partial requests remove only the categories you specify and leave your Penny Vault account active. Full account deletion removes your login, profile, wallet access, and associated personal data. In both cases, data we must keep for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations is described in the table above and is deleted or anonymized when retention periods expire.
